At Gemsagar, we understand one simple thing — once you place an order, you expect speed, safety, and clarity. Our Shipping Policy is built to deliver exactly that. No vague promises, no hidden conditions — just a clear system that works.


Shipping Within India

Under our Shipping Policy, we provide shipping across India on all orders. There are no minimum purchase requirements and no hidden delivery charges added later.

  • We partner with reliable courier services like DTDC and Blue Dart to ensure fast and secure delivery.
  • For locations where standard courier services are not available, especially remote or rural areas, we use trusted postal services.

Every shipment is packed securely to prevent damage during transit. We don’t cut corners on packaging because one mistake there ruins the entire experience. Each product is carefully checked before dispatch to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.


International Shipping

Our Shipping Policy also covers global delivery. Gemsagar ships to 70+ countries worldwide, depending on service availability from our logistics partners.

  • Shipping charges for international orders are calculated based on destination, weight, and applicable courier rates.
  • We use globally trusted shipping partners such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL for safe and efficient delivery.

All international shipments are fully insured, and this insurance cost is already included in your shipping fee. You are not charged anything extra for protection — it’s already built into the system. This ensures that even in rare cases of transit issues, your order remains protected.


Dispatch Time

Dispatch speed depends on what you order. Our Shipping Policy keeps this transparent:

  • Loose Gemstones / Ready Products:
    Dispatched within 1–2 business days after order confirmation.
  • Customized Jewelry (Rings, Pendants, Bracelets):
    Requires 4–5 business days for crafting before dispatch.
  • Additional Certification Requests:
    If you request extra certification beyond our standard lab certificate, dispatch time may increase slightly.

If you expect same-day dispatch for customized work, that’s unrealistic. Quality work takes time, and rushing it only compromises the final product.


Order Tracking

Transparency matters. That’s why our Shipping Policy includes full tracking support.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking ID via email. This allows you to monitor your shipment in real-time — from dispatch to delivery. You can stay updated at every step without needing to contact support repeatedly.

If you’re constantly asking “where is my order,” it usually means you’re not checking the tracking provided.


Estimated Delivery Time

Delivery timelines begin after dispatch, not from the day you place the order.

  • Metro Cities (India): 2–3 business days
  • Other Locations (India): 3–7 business days
  • International Orders: 5–10 business days

These are realistic estimates. Delays can happen due to external factors like weather conditions, courier delays, public holidays, or customs clearance. That’s logistics — not a failure of the system.


Customs Duties & Taxes (International Orders)

Here’s where most customers get confused — and then blame the brand.

Under our Shipping Policy, Gemsagar is not responsible for:

  • Import duties
  • VAT (Value Added Tax)
  • Customs clearance charges

These charges are imposed by your country and must be paid by you.

Important Notes:

  • Countries like the USA, Canada, and parts of Europe often have little to no duty on loose gemstones
  • Other countries may charge around 1% (approx.), but this is not guaranteed
  • Business buyers may be eligible to recover VAT

If you don’t understand your country’s import rules, check before ordering. Guessing leads to problems and unnecessary disputes.


International Order Cancellations / Refused Shipments

Our Shipping Policy is strict on this for a reason:

  • If you refuse delivery or cancel an order after it has been shipped, you are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, and VAT
  • Refunds are processed only after the product is returned to us
  • The final refund amount will be deducted after all applicable charges

This isn’t negotiable. Once shipped, costs are already involved and cannot be reversed
